Windows 11 ships with a redesigned taskbar. The most significant change to the taskbar is that app icons and the Start button are now centered. Although it misses some features (such as drag and drop to taskbar), the new centered layout looks good.
Like in earlier versions, there are various settings and options to change the default look and feel of the Windows 11 taskbar. For example, you can move the Start button and apps to the left (as seen on Windows 10), show/hide search, widgets, chat and task view icons, hide/show the taskbar, and choose which icons appear in the system tray area of the taskbar.
To access all these settings and personalize the taskbar to your desire, you need to open the taskbar settings. Following are the four easy ways to open taskbar settings in Windows 11.
Method 1 of 4
Open taskbar settings from desktop in Windows 11
Step 1: Perform a right-click on an empty spot on the taskbar and click the Taskbar settings to open the Settings > Personalization > Taskbar page.
Method 2 of 4
Open taskbar settings via Settings in Windows 11
Step 1: Open the Settings app using search or Windows + I hotkey.
Step 2: In the left pane of the Settings app, click on Personalization.
Step 3: On the right side, click Taskbar to open the taskbar settings page.
Method 3 of 4
Open taskbar settings via the Run command in Windows 11
Step 1: Open the Run command box using Windows + R hotkey or search.
Step 2: In the Run command, type ms-settings:taskbar and then hit the Enter key to launch the taskbar settings app.
Method 4 of 4
Open taskbar settings via Command Prompt or Terminal in Windows 11
Step 1: Open the Command Prompt, Windows Terminal or PowerShell using search.
Step 2: Type start ms-settings:taskbar and then hit the Enter key to open the taskbar settings page.

Hello, at your service.
I don’t want to see anything but a picture on the screen in Windows 11, which I updated from 10 to 11. Why do you force us to use this option?
I want it like Windows 10 in the bottom bar of my Windows at toolbar/desktop address. Customize and easily access all my installed programs and Windows tools in the form of two flash drives, that is, with one click, why on the right click on the bottom bar of Windows 11, more 2 options (settings/text manager) more does not have ? Why do I have to type in the search field for everything I want and waste my time to access Windows programs? Maybe the Windows user is a child or an illiterate or someone who doesn’t know anything about Windows. Thank you for taking care of it. .
