How To Repair Microsoft Edge In Windows 10/11

Last Updated on April 14, 2023 by admin 2 Comments

Microsoft Edge browser is the default web browser in Windows 10 and 11. The Edge browser, now based on Chromium, has been receiving updates almost every week.

The Edge browser is quite stable. Maybe because it’s now based on the Chromium project or because Microsoft is now serious about the browser, the Edge browser is now at par or better than its competitors.

That said, it’s, after all, software. Very rarely, it might throw some errors or might have issues. For that, Microsoft has offered an easy option to repair the Edge browser.

Repair Microsoft Edge in Windows 10/11

Step 1: Please close the Edge browser if it’s open.

Step 2: Open the Windows 10/11 Settings app. On Windows 10 PC, navigate to Apps > Apps & features page. On Windows 11, go to Apps > Installed apps page.

Step 3: The right side of the page shows a list of apps installed on your computer. Look for the Microsoft Edge entry.

On Windows 10, click on the Edge entry and then click the Modify button. On Windows 11, click the three dots next to the entry and then click the Modify option.
