Do you want to wirelessly connect your Windows 11 PC to your TV and mirror the PC’s screen to the TV? This guide shows you how to wirelessly connect your Windows 11 PC to a TV.
These directions apply to TVs from all brands, including Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, and Panasonic.
NOTE 1: In order to wirelessly connect your Windows 11 laptop to a TV, the TV should also support wireless connectivity.
NOTE 2: Ensure that Wi-Fi is turned on both your TV and PC before trying to connect them wirelessly.
NOTE 3: If the Windows 11 PC is already connected to a TV over Wi-Fi, please disconnect the same.
NOTE 4: If using a Miracast dongle, please ensure it’s connected to your TV.
Wirelessly connect Windows 11 laptop to TV
Step 1: Turn on your TV and ensure its Wi-Fi is turned on.
Step 2: Next, select the Screen mirroring option on your TV. Accessing the Screen mirroring option is different on all brands. So, it’s best to use the TV’s remote and play around a bit to find the option.
Step 3: On your Windows 11 PC, open the Settings app. Now, there are multiple ways to open the Settings app. The easiest one is to use the Windows logo + I hotkey. Alternately, type “settings” in the search field and hit Enter to open the same.
Step 4: On the left pane of the Settings app, ensure that System is selected. On the right side, click Display.
Step 5: In the Scale and layout section, click on Multiple displays to expand it.
Step 6: Now, click the Connect button next to the Connect to a wireless display option.
Step 7: You should now see a flyout showing your TV model. Click on your TV’s entry.
Step 8: On your TV, you might get a confirmation prompt asking if you would like to accept the connection from the Windows 11 PC. Select the Accept or OK button on your TV to wirelessly connect Windows 11 PC to the TV.
Your Windows 11 PC’s screen should now appear on the TV.
