Instead of logging off, you can cleaning end and restart the explorer process:
[1] – While holding down the Ctrl and Shift keys, right-click the power button in the Start menu, and choose Exit Explorer.
[2] – Press Ctrl-Shift-Esc to open the Task Manager, and use the New Task command on the file menu to restart Explorer.exe
