The Version Of Windows On Your PC Doesn’t Meet The Minimum Requirements For This Product

The Microsoft Store in Windows 10/11 is the house for fantastic apps. You can find all types of apps here, from video streaming to social networking apps.

To install an app from the Microsoft Store, we need to open the app’s page in the Store app (using the built-in search in the Store app) and then click the Get button to download and install the app.

However, rarely, when you visit the app’s page in the Store, you might see the “The version of Windows on your PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for this product” message. The Get/Install button is also grayed out.

If you are wondering why the error message shows up for a specific app, it’s because the app you would like to install is not available for the version of Windows installed on your PC. For example, you might be running Windows 10, but the app is released or currently available for Windows 11 only. The error might also show up if you are running an outdated version of Windows 10.

The recently released Apple Music, Apple Devices, and Apple TV are the best examples. When you visit the dedicated pages of these apps in the Windows 10 Store, you get the “The version of Windows on your PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for this product” message.

When you get the above message for an app, please check the system requirements section of the app. The system requirements section usually includes the version of Windows the app is available, and the section can be found on the same page.

The only solution for the above message is to upgrade to the latest version of the Windows operating system.
