On most physical keyboards, the Caps lock key size is relatively large. Because of its size and convenient position, we often inadvertently press the Caps lock key. We notice that the Caps lock is turned on only after typing a couple of letters if not words.
Luckily, Windows 10 offers a way to enable sound and visual notifications when you turn on Caps lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock so that you can turn it off immediately if you press it accidentally. If you need a better visual indicator (like the one shown in the picture above), you need to use the software provided by your PC’s manufacturer (scroll down to learn more about it).
Unfortunately, you cannot enable the sound and visual indicators for the Caps lock key only. That is, when you turn on the indication, Windows 10 will make a sound or show a visual notification for Num lock as well as Scroll lock in addition to the Caps lock.
Complete the given below directions to turn on or off the sound, and visual indicators for Caps lock, Num lock, and Scroll lock keys.
