Prevent Windows 11 from showing Microsoft Edge tabs in the Alt + Tab screen
Step 1: Open the Windows 11 Settings app using search or Windows logo + I hotkey.
Step 2: In the left pane, click System. Now, on the right side, click Multitasking.
Step 3: Here, select the Don’t show tabs option from the drop-down menu next to Show tabs from apps when snapping or pressing Alt + Tab to stop Windows 11 from showing Edge browser tabs in the Alt + Tab screen.
If you wish, you can also configure it to display 3, 5, or 30 of the most recent tabs.
Tip 1: As said earlier, you can use Ctrl + Tab to switch to the next tab and Ctrl + Shift + Tab to switch to the previous tab in Edge and other desktop web browsers on a computer running the Windows operating system.
Tip 2: Did you know that you can close apps and open File Explorer windows right from the Alt + Tab screen using a keyboard shortcut?
