With default settings, Windows 10 or 11 does not show many details about files in File Explorer. The Details view (View > Details view) shows some details, such as file size and type, but it still does not show all details.
To get more information about a file, you need to right-click on the file, select Properties, and then click the Details tab to view all the information.
If you often need to see file details, you might want to configure the Windows 10/11 File Explorer to show all details by default in the File Explorer.
Windows 10 and 11 File Explorer offer a feature called Details pane which, when turned on, shows all details about a selected file. It shows details such as modified and created dates and file size for all file types. For photos, it shows additional information such as resolution, camera maker, camera model, authors, rating, title, f-stop number, exposure time, ISO speed, exposure bias, focal length, metering mode, flash mode, and comments.
So, by turning on the Details pane, you can make the File Explorer show file details by default. The Details pane, as you can see in the picture, appears on the right-hand side of the File Explorer and shows several details about the currently selected file.
Here is how to always show the details pane in Windows 10/11 File Explorer.

Properties shows the last date a file was modified but no dates for modifications in between. I know the document was modified more than once since its creation. How can I see ALL the dates it was modified?
