A digital calendar helps you keep track of important dates, such as appointments, events, and tasks. When it comes to digital calendars, Google Calendar is one of the most used calendar services across desktop and smartphone operating systems.
Google offers the official Calendar app for smartphones. However, it does not offer an app for computers. Because of this, Windows PC users need to access the Google Calendar in a web browser.
Although Google Calendar can be added to Outlook New, Outlook Classic, and several other calendar apps, an official Calendar app by Google for Windows would have improved the experience.
If you rely on Google Calendar and access it in a web browser on your Windows 11/10 PC, you will be pleased to know that there is a way to install Google Calendar as an app on Windows 11/10.
Both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge allow you to install a webpage/website as an app. Once installed, the installed app (website) will work just like any other app. So, by using this lesser-known feature of Chrome/Edge, you can install the Google Calendar as an app.
