Since millions of users across the globe are already using Gmail and other Google services, a significant percentage of Gmail users are naturally using Google Meet for video calling.

Although Google Meet can be accessed from the web browser, most computer users prefer installing the app on their computer so that they can create and join Google Meet meetings quickly and easily.

Is the Google Meet app available for Windows 10/11?

Google has made available a progressive web (PWA) version of the Google Meet app for Windows 10/11 and Mac. It lets you create and join meetings just like other apps.

When you install it using your Chrome browser, do you have to be in Chrome when someone sends you a join code. I usually browse with Edge.
