Yahoo Mail is one of the popular webmail services out there. Although many users have moved to Gmail and Outlook.com over the last decade, hundreds of millions still prefer Yahoo Mail over others.
As you likely know, an official Yahoo Mail app for Windows was available until a few years ago. However, in 2017, the Yahoo Mail app for Windows was discontinued.
If you are a Yahoo Mail user, on a Windows 10/11 PC, you need to use a web browser such as Google Chrome to access your Yahoo Mail account. Accessing the Yahoo Mail account through a web browser is perfectly fine. However, there are users who prefer to have a dedicated app so that they can access their Yahoo Mail inbox quickly and easily.
Now that the Yahoo Mail app is no longer available for Windows, there is no way to install the discontinued Yahoo Mail app for Windows. However, there is a way to install the Yahoo! Mail website as an app using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser. Once installed, the Yahoo Mail app would work just like any other app.
