Like any other popular software, Microsoft Office Word also supports dark mode. By default, the Word app automatically uses dark or light mode depending on the current system mode. That is, the Word app automatically switches to dark mode when the system mode switches to dark and back to light mode when the system mode switches to light.
If you open a new Word document with dark mode enabled, the page background is also dark or black. While this is perfect for most users, some might prefer a lighter page background color when composing or editing the document.
With dark mode on, if you navigate to Design > Page Color to change the page background color, clicking the white tile does not set the background to white. So, how do we change the Word page background color to white when in dark mode?
