Grammarly helps users write better. It’s one of the most used AI-powered spelling and grammar-checking services available for computers as well as smartphones.
A huge number of Windows users have installed Grammarly so that they can create better documents in Office Word.
If Grammarly is not turned on in the Office Word program or you wish to turn it off for some reason, you can do so by following the directions below.
NOTE: We assume that Grammarly is already installed on your Windows 11/10 computer.
Enable Grammarly in Microsoft Office Word in Windows 11/10
Step 1: Right-click on the Grammarly icon in the system tray area of the taskbar and then click Settings. If you cannot find the Grammarly icon, click the small up arrow on the taskbar to see the hidden icons. If it’s still missing, use search to launch Grammarly.
Step 2: In the resulting Settings dialog, click on the Block list tab.
Step 3: Here, the “Blocked by you” section shows all apps where Grammarly is blocked. To enable Grammarly in Word, click the Remove button next to the Microsoft Word entry. That’s it!
Step 4: When you restart the Office Word program, the Grammarly icon should appear and work normally.
