Microsoft To-Do is one of the best free task management applications out there for Windows and other operating systems. Based on the once very popular Wunderlist app, Microsoft To-Do can make your life a lot easier.
Unlike some of the similar apps out there, Microsoft To-Do allows you to attach files to 25 MB to tasks and add notes to tasks.
If you have added one or more tasks to the To-Do app, you might want to see the tasks on the Start so that you can view all pending tasks every time you open the Start menu or Start screen on your Windows 10 PC.
Luckily, the To-Do app supports pinning task lists to the Start. You can pin one or more To-Do lists to the Start so that you can view your tasks without opening the To-Do app.
Here is how to pin Microsoft To-Do lists to the Start menu/screen of Windows 10 so that you can view all tasks just by opening the Start screen and every time you open the Start.
Pin Microsoft To-Do lists to Windows 10 Start
Step 1: Open the Microsoft To-Do app. If not already installed, get it from the Windows Store. Make sure that you are running the latest version of the app as well as Windows 10.
Step 2: To pin a task list to the Start, right-click on it and then click the Pin to Start option. Click the Yes button when you get the confirmation dialog. This will add the selected list to the Start.
Step 3: When you pin it, the lists tile shows up at the bottom of the Start, and its size might be small or medium. To change the size, right-click on it, click Resize, and then select either Wide or Large option.
If you would like to see the pinned To-Do list tile at the top or any other position on the Start, please move the tile to the required position so that you can see it every time you open the Start menu.
If the pinned tile doesn’t show lists, it could be because the live tile feature is turned off. Right-click on the tile, click the More option and then click Turn Live Tile on option.
To unpin the list, right-click on it and then click Unpin from Start option.
